"I love America" a musical about the love of our country and our God was presented on June 27th by the Chapel choir and attended by many residents and Island guests. Yes, it truly was a "God Encounter" of the greatest magnitude. The energy of the choir, the enthusiasm of the congregation and the love and joy in the Chapel were contagious. One felt surrounded by love. Love for our country, love for one another, love for God and God's love.
That afternoon, the Chapel was filled with more than people and music. It was filled with faith, hope and love – God's love.. These three elements are the foundation of our country and were strongly felt in the BHI Chapel that Sunday afternoon. Faith, hope, and love are loving one’s country, loving God, respecting traditions, and honoring God’s people, high or low, rich or poor.
The Chapel that Sunday afternoon was filled with God's music, God’s people, and God's love.
