Chapel Choir

The Choir is a volunteer group of singers who leads in worship each Sunday and provides special programs through the year. The choir meets to practice every Sunday at 7:45 a.m. and is open to anyone wishing to participate.

Women's Bible Study

The Women’s Bible study meets on the first and fourth Tuesday of every month at 10:15 a.m. Please call Carol Sauder at 454-9043 for more information.

Evening Bible Study

The Evening Bible study meets every Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. for refreshments, with the study beginning at 7:30 p.m. Please check the bulletin on Sunday or the Chapel calendar webpage for weekly location or call the Chapel office.

Habitat For Humanity

The planned Habitat for Humanity House start date has been moved again to May 2010. Our goal is $3500 based on the cost three years ago. You may participate in this project by making a tax deductible gift to the Chapel and designating it for the Habitat project. In our previous help with a Habitat House, we built the walls on Bald Head Island and when the foundation and floor system was completed, the walls were moved from Bald Head to the home site and we erected them. If you want to help with the building, contact Thad Wester, 457-4927.

Beach Hymn Sings

The Beach Hymn Sings are held in the summer months at beach access 23. You are invited to enjoy making a joyful sound with Island residents, visitors and guests.

Prayer and Meditation

A time of prayer and meditation is held the third Thursday of each month from 12-1:00 p.m. in the Chapel. Enjoy a quiet time as Christian Music is played on the organ or piano.

Meals and Transportation Ministry

Meals are provided for persons who have just returned from the hospital or who are in need of help with meals during a family illness or crisis. Intercessory Prayer

Prayer requests may be left in the box in the narthex before worship each Sunday, placed on the prayer tab on this Website or through the Chapel's Prayer Chain by notifying Carol Sauder at 910-454-9043 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
